Not pampering your facial skin until it is damaged and declines faster than your age makes it very hard to bring back radiance and glow to your skin. No matter how miraculous cosmetics are, they just help prevent future signs of aging. Dermatologists suggested that nourishing skin should begin from an early age, best as an adolescent. The faster it takes, the more slowly the cells will deteriorate. Here are 5 tips for keeping your skin looking youthful.

1. Applying Sunscreen
According to experts, 80% of decrepitness of facial skin is caused by sunlight. Ultraviolet radiation in sunlight is the significant factor which leads to deep lines and wrinkles on your face, because it destroys collagen and elastic fibers. The skin will consequently lose its elasticity. However, being in Thailand, it’s quite hard to avoid sun exposure. So, try to apply sunscreen with SPF 15 and up on your face and neck daily. Moreover, driving without wearing sunglasses in bright sunlight along with frowning when you’re not aware, all of these can mark wrinkles and crow’s feet as you have to narrow your eyes and knit your eyebrows.

2. Wrinkles from Sleeping Positions
Dermatologists said that 6-8 hours of sleep in one day can form wrinkles on your face, especially for people who always snuggle their faces with a pillow. This is because the side of the face which leans on the pillow is pressed and consequently wrinkled with lines. In fact, it can be avoided and solved by sleeping with turning face up or using a soft pillow with a slippery texture such as satin. People who often rest their arm on their forehead can put themselves at risk of more wrinkles too.

3. Eating Healthy Food
Eating healthy food with all 5 basic food groups can make your skin glow. Vitamin A, C and E are primary, because they slow down the decrepitness of skin cells. And do not forget to drink 6-8 glasses of water in one day. Plus, try to stay away from smoking and alcohol drinking, as they are an important source to damage your skin at a premature age.

4. Sleeping Not Enough – Wrinkles Show
Having not enough sleep can not only undermine your health, but it also can result in weary and gloomy face. And if you often don’t get enough sleep, those wrinkles and lines can be sticking around at a premature age.

5. Relaxing
Stress that is never relieved easily opens up a good opportunity for pimples on your face. They can turn your beautiful face less radiant. Thus, you should try to find a way to reduce stress by, for example, keeping your mind calm by meditation, listening to soft music, cherishing the nature around you, or even playing with your dog.
