I originally started using this product when I had surgery and my eyelashes fell out. I was skeptical at first but truly wanted them to develop back to I gave it a try and also you wouldn’t believe them now! I was truly convinced when I read it had been developed for a man who’s wife had cancer and experienced the exact same problem. I order it on-line at Amazon and due to competition it has come down in cost considerably and also you don’t need a prescription. I have cornea issues and checked with my doctor first and he said the active ingredient is the same in Revitalash as it’s in Latisse and also the chemical that is utilized in Glaucoma drops which causes the eyelashes to grow. I’ve always been worried about brown spots, but my green eyes have stayed green as I’m careful to make certain I do not get the product in my eyes and I have not experienced the two major side effects, itchig and burning, which with all of my allergies, it’s a wonder. I would recommend this product to anybody who has an issue with their eyelashes or who just wants eyelashes that are gorgeously lengthy and thick. And mine didn’t begin out this way prior to they originally fell out.
I’ve been using the conditioner for 3 weeks. I apply some to my eye brows and to my lash line. My eye brows seem to be filling in but my lashes aren’t noticeably thicker or longer. I will continue utilizing the product until it utilized up. Maybe the next 3 weeks will produce greater outcomes. I’ll report back. Correct now, I won’t be buying the product again.

My mom used Latisse and it was amazing but I didnt want to spent 5 so I tried Revitalash. I have to say it DID take 6 weeks to really knock my socks off with the effect but boy, did it. My lashes are so thick -- all the bald spots filled in from wearing single glued on lashes, rough treatment etc. I barely need mascara - they are REALLY long now (after 10 weeks continuous use) and what was most important to me -- LUSH and THICK. And unlike Latisse no darkening problems. My Mom is going to quit Latisse and starting using this now I just ordered some for her :)
Longer but not thicker
I've been using Revitalash for about 3 months now - I did notice that my lashes did get a tad bit longer but not much - I wish they got thicker but definitely have not. Some long stranglers have grown, looks awkward so I have to trim the long ones to even them out with the rest of my lashes. I don't think I'd buy this again though.
Revitalash grows lashes
It took about a month to show up, but my lashes definitely got longer and thicker. When I stopped, they went back to their short, straight, sparse state, but am now on my second tube and they're growing again. First tube lasted about 3 months. Actually, at first I only put Revitalash on one eye, to do my own experiment and could definitely see a difference between the two eyes. I haven't tried Latisse, so don't know how they compare.
amazingly effective! NO JOKE!!
All my life my lashes were short and stubby until my doctor's office started to sell Revitalash but I didn't buy it there for TWICE as much but saved $$ by buying it on Amazon.com instead. My lashes were so damaged from having semi-permanent (not!) lashes applied every 2 weeks for almost 2 years that I began to have bald spots on my lids where no lashes grew after a while at all! After using this product for about 6 weeks there was a noticeable change with lashes filling in and elongating, NO JOKE! My husband used to tease me while I applied my mascara saying "come out little eye lashes and play" and now he is absolutely AMAZED at how my lashes tripled in length! I am a Nurse Practitioner and I assure you, it's safe and will change how you feel about your stubby lashes once they grow longer and thicker. A little stinging at times and the literature says one may get brown spots on lids but the later has not happened. The only thing that happened is that I am pleased beyond measure and how I have lovely longer lashes now. You do have to use it regularly for maintenance but it takes no time at all. Make sure you clean your lids well as you do dip the applicator in and out of the tube increasing the chance of infection but this has not happened to me using as clean a technique as I possibly can. I replace the product every quarter to assure it's fresh and working. And what a cost savings! I used to pay every 2 weeks (ouch! but I was desperate!) to have individual lashes attached to my stubby ones and now I pay ish and it lasts 4 months! You will NOT be disappointed but happy as can be at the beautiful results!
New formulation; It works!
I was skeptical about buying this product after spending hours reading about the various potential side-effects. I was also weary because I'd read so many online reviews indicating the chemical formulation had changed and the product was no longer effective. However, IT WORKS.
I've always had relatively long lashes and had to take a hiatus from the product because I feared my lashes were getting too long when they began brushing up against the lenses of my sunglasses. This product really does work! Strangers complimented my eyelashes and friends started asking if I was using false lashes. The results really are amazing!
Negatives:
* It did take about 2.5 months before I had visible results. (I applied as directed)
* I did get the faint pigmentation/darkening along my lashline. For me, it was a sort of plum color and looked a bit like faint eyeliner. It didn't bother me, but this seems to be a rather universal side-effect everyone should expect.
* I felt a slight tingling/burning after application for the first 1-2 weeks.
* Once I stopped using the product, it seemed like the results faded. I'm going to start using it again and anticipate seeing similar results.
(I have green/hazel eyes and did NOT experience any iris darkening or color change in my eyes; I also did NOT experience any vision problems or other more serious side effects)
